WHAT'S HAPPENING 2008 - THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR Sunnyfields will be attending a number of Food Shows and Festivals in 2008. In addition at most of these events we will be taking the demonstration kitchen unit. The Watercress Festival - 11th May 2008 10am until 5pm. This very popular annual festival takes place as usual in Alresford Town Centre
The Southsea Food Festival - 17 & 18th May 2008 Building on the success of 2007. This years Festival will be for two days and will include a many attractions. Sunnyfields will be there selling its produce and the demonstration kitchen will be hard at work. The Hampshire Food festival - The whole month of July 2008
For the first time, this years festival will last for the whole month. Sunnyfields will be holding four special themed markets as part of our Saturday Markets:The Sunnyfields four themed markets will be:STRAWBERRIES, HERBS, GARLIC AND A CHILDRENS MARKET. Programmes will be available from Sunnyfields. This month is a great opportunity to celebrate Hampshire's Food and Drink with the producers and food providers of Hampshire. The New Forest and Hampshire Show, including The New Forest and Hampshire Food Experience - Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th, Thursday 31st July 2008
With better weather ordered already for 2008, Hampshire and New Forest producers are looking forward to this annual event. Cooking demonstrations with local chefs and producer talks, shop and drop area, picnic tables and lots of great local food. The Food Show @ The Romsey Show 2008 - Saturday 13th September 2008 The first Food Show last year at The Romsey Show was a great success. Well over 25,000 visitors enjoyed nearly 100 producers, two demonstration kitchens, picnic area and lots more. A must for September. The Food Show is part of The Romsey Show but with no extra admission charge - so its two shows for the price of one.
